About Basement Bettys
First, who is Basement Betty? The double Tongued Dictionary defines her as:
Basement Betty
n. a woman who runs a business out of her home (in competition with store-based businesses).

Editorial Note: A less common male equivalent is Basement Bob. Florist have long used the term to describe "do it yourselfers" or someone that wants to "pick my brain". Sometimes a florist is reluctant to tell someone what to do and how to do it if they feel "there's nothing in it for me". People know this and are usually reluctant to ask for advice but don't know where to turn. That's exactly why we developed Basement Bettys.com.
In the floral business since 1984, our mission is simply to provide the best products at the best prices and give the best advice to help you achieve the event you envision. So go ahead, "pick our brains" (or what's left of them).
